With modern devices that support eSIM, there is no need to insert a physical SIM card to use your mobile number. If you are a Telekom Slovenije subscriber and own a device that supports eSIM, you are eligible to use this feature. You can order your eSIM via Moj Telekom or at any Telekom Slovenije sales point. To install it on your device, you’ll need access to WiFi or a mobile data connection.
If you wish to replace your current SIM card with an eSIM, you can do so through Moj Telekom or at any Telekom Slovenije sales point. When signing up for a subscription or purchasing a device that supports eSIM, just let us know you prefer an eSIM. You will receive a QR code, which you’ll use to install the eSIM on your device.
Ensure that the device intended for eSIM installation is connected to the internet—whether through WiFi or a mobile data connection.
Scan the QR code to install the eSIM on your device. To transfer the eSIM to a device that doesn't support QR code scanning (like a smartwatch), start by pairing it with a smartphone that can. Important: Read the instructions for transferring your eSIM beforehand.
Once the eSIM is installed, your device will automatically connect to the Telekom Slovenije mobile network.
