The NEO platform, which introduced a completely new experience into Slovenian homes with managing TV content using voice commands, has now introduced gaming.
The first month of the NEO Gaming service is available as a free trial; currently it offers 50 games in different genres for the whole family and for players of different ages, and Telekom Slovenije will continue to expand the range of available games.
Telekom Slovenije continues upgrading the NEO platform with new features. From today, NEO also includes the option of playing games in the cloud, with Telekom Slovenije striking a partnership with the leading global provider of cloud gaming Gamestream, providing its subscribers to television services with the option of playing leading games, such as Disney Infinity 3.0: Gold Edition, LEGO® Star Wars™ III - The Clone Wars™ and MotoGP™17. This allows subscribers to Telekom Slovenije’s television services with a NEO Smartbox and a fibre optic connection to enjoy playing 50 advanced games, and every two months Telekom Slovenije will be adding five new games. Games are in different genres, suitable for different ages and the whole family; and for the best gaming experience you can play games with a gaming pad, connected to the NEO Smartbox. At the moment NEO supports Logitech F710, Sony PS4 and XBOX One if connected to NEO Smartbox with adequate USB cable and with more to come in the future.
Subscribers to television services can simply activate Neo Games using their NEO Smartbox user interface. The NEO Games service is available free of charge for the first month, then the subscription fee is €8 (VAT included). Compared to the cost of purchasing individual games, the subscription gaming model is attractively priced, and it also does not require the user to purchase a high-end gaming PC or a traditional video game console. The NEO Games user interface is in Slovenian, with support for voice managed and voice-activated gaming.
