From today, 10 March 2020, users of mobile services from Telekom Slovenije and the brands Mobi, IZI, Spar Mobil and Hip Mobil, who return to Slovenia from abroad, will receive a text message in which the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Slovenia alerts it citizens to adhere to preventive measures to stop the spread of the coronavirus.
The solution was developed by Telekom Slovenije whose mobile services are used by more than a million Slovenians, and they will receive the text message the moment their mobile phone connects from the roaming network to Telekom Slovenije's mobile network.
The service is aimed at informing the citizens who return to Slovenia from abroad, and the message of the Ministry of Health of RS reads as follows: "When returning from abroad make sure to mind your health. If you are not feeling well, have a cough and a fever, remain at home, call your personal physician by telephone, and check how to act regarding the Covid-19 virus. More information available at the toll-free number: 080 14 04.«
The Ministry of Health of RS will use this method to inform citizens for as long as necessary.
Users who will connect to Telekom Slovenije's network from a foreign network several times within a 30-day period, will only receive this text message the first time.
The received message is free of charge. It is not possible to unsubscribe from the service.
Telekom Slovenije also established a call centre for the Ministry of Public Administration and the toll-free number 080 14 04.
