Telekom Slovenije with a revamped music offering: 11 new exclusive TV channels

8. 12. 2025

Telekom Slovenije is launching a significant upgrade to its channel line-up for its television subscribers. The company has enhanced its offering with 11 new music channels, all exclusively available in the Telekom Slovenije line-up. With an even richer offering of attractive content, Telekom Slovenije is responding to market changes and putting its support behind domestic music production. All new channels are available to subscribers promotionally free of charge until 1 February 2026.

With the introduction of new channels, Telekom Slovenije provides a new music experience tailored to various generations and musical tastes. The new offering comes at a time of music content transformation in the market, as the MTV channels are leaving the Slovenian market at the end of the year. Telekom Slovenije has used the resulting gap for a strategic shift towards more diverse and locally focused content.

All 11 new channels are available to subscribers free of charge until 1 February 2026. After the promotional period is up, the Muzzik Mix channel will remain part of all channel line-ups, while the remaining 10 channels will be available in the affordable Muzzik channel option for EUR 3 per month. For a complete user experience on the NEO platform, all new channels also support the 7-day time shift feature. This means that viewers are not tied to the current schedule, but can search for and watch their favourite music videos, concerts, and shows from the past 7 days.

The new channels cover a wide range of genres, from global hits to the alternative scene:
•    Muzzik Mix: The channel included in all line-ups offers a mix of the biggest hits across various genres – from modern American pop to Slovenian and Balkan popular music.
•    FlashBack: Biggest hits of the 80s, the 90s and from the turn of the millennium (rock, pop and hip-hop).
•    Pop Star: Current hits from the US pop and R&B charts.
•    R&R: Classic and modern rock, from legendary bands to new indie rockers.
•    Electro: Electronic music, house, techno in dance hits.
•    Restart: Alternative and dance music with concert recordings.
•    Myuzzik: The newest tunes for Gen Z with a strong showing of popular music from the region.
•    Muzzik: New popular music from all across the globe.
•    WWM (World Wide Music): A broad selection of popular music (Latin America, India, Africa, South Korea and Europe).
•    Jeka: Ethnic rock and popular music hits from the Balkans.
•    ZZ TV: Music from the new Alpe-Adria scene.

The new music channel option opens up important space for local and regional music production. With channels that actively promote Slovenian artists, ranging from pop and rock to hip-hop, Telekom Slovenije is cementing its role in preserving and encouraging cultural identity. Viewers can already follow music videos from established and rising domestic names such as Raiven, Joker Out, Laibach, Magnifico, Jan Plestenjak, Vili Resnik, Masayah, Katalena, Koala Voice, and Anabel on the new channels.
