Telekom Slovenije: Multiple devices will be able to use a single mobile number

3. 9. 2024

Telekom Slovenije, in cooperation with leading vendors, has integrated an advanced technology solution into its network, which will soon provide users with an even better experience using smartwatches and other wearable devices. With support for various manufacturers and models, including smartwatches from Apple, Google, and Samsung, users will be able to use a single number on multiple devices via an electronic SIM card (eSIM).

"The number of wearable devices in our network is constantly increasing, as user habits are changing, so we want to provide them with an advanced user experience in this segment as well. With the single number solution, users will be able to use their mobile number on multiple devices simultaneously without the need for physically moving the SIM card. When making an outgoing call from any of their devices, the user will be presented with their single mobile number, and in the case of an incoming call, all devices will ring simultaneously. By answering the call on one device, the other devices will stop ringing, and the incoming call will be marked as an answered call," explains Katja Šajnovič, Director of Business Development at Telekom Slovenije.

In addition, the new feature will also make it easier for users to activate additional 5G services and use multiple mobile devices with a single identity. The new features will enable the full use of Apple eSIM, Google eSIM, Samsung eSIM smartwatches, and other wearable devices.

To support eSIM mobile devices and additional 5G network services, Telekom Slovenije will also introduce several new features to provide users with the simplest possible use of new technologies.

Telekom Slovenije will launch the new features this autumn, and will provide all the details on them at launch.
