Slovenians have once again confirmed that they trust Telekom Slovenije the most among all mobile and internet service providers, the Trusted Brand independent survey shows. Telekom Slovenije has the biggest network in Slovenia, and its services are used by more than a million citizens.
Telekom Slovenije has received the prestigious title of the most trustworthy brand for several years in a row by strategically investing in its reliable, secure and high-quality network, ensuring constant development, and by offering the most advanced services that fit its users' needs. Telekom Slovenije's users appreciate that they are always able to keep up with the current trends, which is also evident from their exceptionally positive response to the NEO platform, which has brought a completely new user experience into Slovenian households through innovative management of TV and other content, and advanced smart home services. Slovenian users are among the first in the world to manage TV content and smart home devices with voice commands, from a central location and in Slovenian.
It is not surprising that more than one million Slovenians trust Telekom Slovenije's services and its network, as they appreciate values like security, reliability and innovation. "Telekom Slovenije focuses a lot of attention into the development of our network and services that our users actually need. We are constantly upgrading our network with future technologies, and provide users with a connection even during the most tasking weather conditions. That is why we are also ready for the introduction of next generation of mobile technology, 5G, which will bring even faster, more reliable and stable mobile data transfer, and new development opportunities for the economy and Slovenia. At the same time we are preparing through the extensive expansion of our fibre optics access network the infrastructural foundations for telecommunications service of the future. We will continue to invest in development that benefits our users in the future," said Matjaž Beričič, Telekom Slovenije's Management Board member, responsible for technology.
Alongside the mobile network, Telekom Slovenije also has the biggest fibre-optics network in the country, with an established connection to more than 325,000 Slovenian households.
In 2019 Telekom Slovenije was the first Slovenian operator to upgrade its network with the Internet of Things technology (NB-IoT), which opens opportunities for developing innovative solutions with a high added value for process optimization, resource management, ensuring high levels of security, as well as a higher quality of living. The company introduced the latest mobile technology eSIM, and has for the past few years provided its users with VoLTE (voice over LTE) and WoWIFI (voice over WiFi) services, and has the biggest 4G/4G+ network in Slovenia. It is planning a smart 5G infrastructure, so that alongside general communication services it will be able to provide numerous virtual dedicated networks for individual business verticals, such as healthcare, energy, transportation, factories, smart cities, etc.
The Trusted Brand survey was conducted by the market and media research institute Mediana, with more than a thousand Slovenians participating, selecting the most trustworthy brands in Slovenia.
