Telekom Slovenije introduces SI-PASS authentication for an even simpler way to login to its services

Telekom Slovenije provides a secure, simple, and user-friendly digital access to its services. In line with this commitment, all users can now sign into Telekom Slovenije's websites using the SI-PASS national system for identity verification and digital sign-in. This integration marks a significant step towards an even more unified and secure digital experience for all Telekom Slovenije’s users.

The SI-PASS system is a widely accepted solution for electronic identification verification and e-signatures, and its integration into Telekom Slovenije's platforms brings users additional benefits. Key among these is immediate digital access to Telekom Slovenije's services for everyone – existing, new, or future subscribers. For subscribers who already use digital access, it serves as an additional sign-in method, while subscribers who do not yet have digital access, can get immediate full access to all their Telekom Slovenije services. Furthermore, SI-PASS delivers increased trust and security, as it also supports high-security sign-in, which will also increase the confidence among existing users of digital services; the system features a high level of security, in compliance with European legislation. 

Telekom Slovenije offers various methods for signing into its online services. With the new SI-PASS integration, users can confirm their identity by using:

•    Electronic identity card (biometric ID card) with a mobile app 
•    Electronic identity card (biometric ID card) with a card reader 
•    smsPASS mobile identity 
•    Qualified digital certificate 

These options are available in addition to the existing registration and sign-in methods, ensuring users can select the most suitable option for them. When signing in with SI-PASS, the system verifies the user's email address and tax number against Telekom Slovenije's records to determine their status and provide appropriate access. Successful sign-in with SI-PASS grants users access to the comprehensive suite of Telekom Slovenije's digital platforms, such as Moj Telekom, the online store, and the NEO multimedia platform.

The Moj Telekom web portal and mobile application, and the online store provide users with a simple, transparent, and secure method for managing their telecommunication services – anywhere, anytime. This is a modern digital one-stop-shop, providing everything users are already familiar with from brick and mortar points of sale, but in an even more convenient, digital format. Key advantages include:
•    Convenient service management: Users can easily and transparently manage all their mobile and fixed services – from changing subscription plans, ordering additional services, and leasing equipment, to purchasing TV programming add-ons, adjusting limits for mobile services, and monitoring usage in real-time. Everything is available in one place, without waiting, and with complete control over their subscription.
•    Invoice overview and payment: Moj Telekom provides a clear overview of paid and unpaid invoices, along with the option for secure, commission-free invoice payments, which is becoming increasingly popular. 
•    Secure purchases: Telekom Slovenije’s subscribers can choose products at special prices and pay for them in instalments in the online store, including through the Loyalty Programme.
•    24/7 access: Service can be managed anywhere, anytime.
•    Saving time and money: Remote self-management means less need for users to visit points of sale or seek assistance via the call centre.

As sustainable business practices are becoming increasingly important, we have made a significant step towards reducing our environmental footprint with the introduction of a digital discount, available to both new and existing subscribers to Telekom Slovenije’s services. The digital discount allows users to receive a discount of EUR 0.50 (VAT included) on their invoice for a period of 12 months. This discount is available to all who opt for e-invoicing for telecommunication services and activate Moj Telekom. The discount is automatically applied upon activation of these two services.
