Telekom Slovenije introduces a single number for a mobile phone, tablet and smartwatch

4. 12. 2024

Telekom Slovenije, the leading Slovenian telecommunications operator, is the first in Slovenia to introduce the convenient technological solution Single Number. The service allows users to link their mobile subscriptions on multiple devices with the Single Number service, allowing them to use their phone number on up to three mobile devices simultaneously. This means you can make and receive calls and stay connected with their Single Number regardless of which device you are using – phone, tablet or smartwatch.

The Single Number service brings a whole new level of convenience and flexibility. Imagine you are out for a run when you receive an important call. Now you no longer need to carry your phone with you, as you can simply answer the call on your smartwatch. Imagine also that you are working on your tablet and want to quickly call a colleague. The new service allows you to make a call from your tablet without having to switch to your phone.

The service works by allowing the subscriber to link up to three of their subscriptions with devices to one number. When someone calls your number, all three devices will ring simultaneously. You can then decide which one to use to answer the call. The same applies to outgoing calls – regardless of which device you call from, the called party's screen will display your telephone number, which has the Single Number service enabled.

It must be emphasized that each device within the Single Number service has its own subscription and operates completely independently (as if each had its own number). This means that you can use mobile data on each device, send SMS and MMS messages, and access all features. For this purpose, Telekom Slovenije recommends the Naj naprava subscription plan on connected devices.

The condition for activating the service is an active VoLTE service on all numbers included in the Single Number service. If the subscriptions do not have VoLTE enabled yet, it is automatically activated on all numbers included in the Single Number service when the Single Number service is activated. The service is currently supported by most smartphones and smartwatches that support eSIM, and support will be extended to Apple Watch eSIM watches and iPad eSIM tablets in early 2025.
The price of the Single Number service is EUR 1 with VAT per month and will only be charged to the primary subscription. Additionally connected subscriptions have the service available free of charge.
