The Slovenian national basketball team, headed by Luka Dončić, will play its first match at the FIBA Basketball World Cup, hosted by Japan, Indonesia, and the Philippines, on Saturday, August 26, against Venezuela.
In the first part of the tournament, each team in the group will play three games. The Slovenian national team will also face Georgia and Cape Verde. Subscribers to Telekom Slovenije's television services will be able to see all Slovenian matches on Šport TV 1.
The games will take place (by Slovenian time):
• Saturday, 26 August: Slovenia – Venezuela, 13:30
• Monday, 28 August: Georgia – Slovenia, 13:30
• Wednesday, 30 August Slovenia – Capo Verde, 13:30
