Telekom Slovenije is continuously upgrading its NEO multimedia platform with innovations that offer more to its users and help it maintain its market-leading position. The new NEO mobile app is now available to users, providing a complete TV experience on mobile devices and impressing with a multitude of new features. Major new features include Chromecast and Airplay support for streaming video from the app to smart TVs, and voice control of the NEO platform using mobile phones.
The NEO multimedia platform is multifaceted. In addition to the advanced Smartbox STB and the NEO TV Lite app for smart TVs, NEO is also available as a mobile app. After a thorough research of global trends and viewing habits of Slovenian viewers, Telekom Slovenije designed the revamped app, which brings a series of significant innovations and offers an even better TV user experience, unified with that on the big TV screen.
Here are some key new features:
- The application now supports voice control of the NEO Smartbox directly from the smartphone, using the virtual NEO remote, making the popular voice control feature even more accessible.
- The NEO mobile app now has an easy way to display video on smart TVs by supporting wireless streaming with Chromecast and Airplay protocols.
- Video display within the app is enhanced, including a mini player, allowing users to multitask on their mobile devices, for example using social media, browsing email or the internet, or messaging friends, while watching TV and radio content.

Telekom Slovenije guarantees user satisfaction to all new subscribers to NEO TV platform services. This means that they will refund the money to those who are not satisfied with the service after using it for 30 days. They can get their NEO experience immediately, with no need to wait. A new subscriber receives their modem and up to three NEO Smartboxes immediately at the point of sale, or by mail if they conclude the agreement remotely; they can simply install them themself, and NEO is available immediately after the installation. NEO subscription plans are available in a promotion for the uniform price of EUR 28 per month, and when opting for Turbo WiFi, subscribers receive it free of charge for the first three months.
