Digital innovations for better living – September 2025

22. 9. 2025

Telekom Slovenije continues to introduce innovations and new technologies and services that further amplify its position as the leading provider in Slovenia.

It has brought lightning-fast delivery of the new iPhone 17 in collaboration with Wolt Slovenija, and is introducing symmetric speeds of up to 5 Gbps on its fibre-optic network. Prepaid users can now take advantage of permanently reduced subscription plan prices and the new Moj Mobi app, while business users have access to an advanced solution for automated monitoring of supplier cybersecurity risks. The September offer is rounded off by the 100,000th user of the Varen splet (Safe Internet) service, exclusive content on the NEO platform, and the Modri fon promotion with selected mobile phones, savings, and additional benefits. All new products and services are designed with a focus on security, speed, and a carefree user experience – at home, on the go, and at work.

The New iPhone 17 and Apple Watches at Telekom Slovenije
In collaboration with Wolt Slovenija, Telekom Slovenije delivered the new iPhone 17 series devices directly to the homes of the first hundred pre-order customers, along with exclusive gifts from Telekom Slovenije, Wolt, and Apple. The fast and convenient delivery is complemented by premium technology – users will be able to fully utilise the capabilities of the iPhone 17 on Telekom Slovenije's leading mobile network, which will cover 99% of the population with gigabit 5G internet by the end of the year. For a complete experience, the popular Naj subscription plans with unlimited service allowances are available from as little as EUR 9.99 per month. The offer is complemented by the innovative Ena številka (One Number) service, which allows the use of one phone number on multiple devices at the same time, including on Apple Watch smart watches with mobile connectivity. When purchasing a smart watch, users can also take advantage of an additional benefit – they can enjoy up to one year of a free subscription plan, the One Number service, and device insurance.

Telekom Slovenije is moving frontiers: Fibre-optic network speeds of up to 5 Gbps
Telekom Slovenije has once again confirmed that it is the technological leader in the Slovenian market by introducing a new dimension of speed to its fibre-optic network. Symmetrical internet speeds of up to 5 Gbps are now available to users, which means equally fast downloads and uploads. With this significant step, which puts it on par with leading global operators, the company is also already testing the technology of the future for speeds of up to 10 Gbps. The upgrade is available on the country's largest fibre-optic network, which already reaches more than 495,000 Slovenian households and is rated by users as the fastest and best in Slovenia. The foundation of this development is continuous investment in XGS-PON technology, which ensures the stability, security, and long-term capacity of the network. These trailblazing speeds are complemented by the advanced NEO platform, which is entirely the result of Slovenian know-how. In combination with the most powerful network, NEO provides an unparalleled user experience, which is also distinguished by unique voice control in Slovenian, already used by more than 300,000 people. All subscribers to NEO subscription plans on fibre-optics have automatically received gigabit speeds at a promotional price of EUR 29.99, while the new, even higher speeds of up to 5/5 Gbps are intended for the most demanding users and future applications. For those who are still waiting for a fibre connection, Telekom Slovenije offers an immediate connection via the mobile network, which allows users to experience a premium internet experience today – without waiting.

Moj Mobi app now brings permanent savings with up to 50% cheaper plans
Telekom Slovenije has delighted its Mobi prepaid users with a double innovation. It has introduced a new Moj Mobi mobile app for easier account management, while also permanently lowering the prices of the most popular subscription plans. The new app provides a quick overview of usage, top-ups with a payment card, and simple management of settings. With its introduction, the prices of selected Mobi plans have been reduced by up to 50% – for ever. The Mobi C plan offer stands out the most, which for only EUR 6.99 per month now includes unlimited calls, messaging, and unlimited data allowance in Slovenia. The benefit applies to all users who have credit on their Mobi account.

How to make sure the internet is safe for the whole family? 100,000 people already know the answer
Imagine an invisible shield that protects your home and mobile devices from viruses, fake websites, and online scams, without you needing to install anything. That's exactly what Varen splet is, a service already trusted by more than 100,000 Telekom Slovenije users. The protection works directly on the network and automatically blocks threats before they even reach your phone, computer, or smart TV. This makes it easy to ensure the safety of your whole family – from children to the elderly, with no technical know-how required. Join them and experience completely carefree browsing. The service is available from just EUR 0.99 per month, with the first two months of use free for new subscribers, which allows users to find out for themselves of how effective it is. The service is very popular among users; at this year's European cybersecurity conference organised by Whalebone, Telekom Slovenije received the Strongest Growth Trajectory award – a recognition that the Safe Internet service is the strongest and fastest growing such service in the last year.

Verify how secure your business partners are – before attackers take advantage of it
Companies classified as essential and important entities by the European NIS2 Directive will have to verify the cybersecurity status of their suppliers and business partners – and here is our simple and affordable solution. The European NIS2 Directive, which was transposed into Slovenian law in May, requires businesses to also consider vulnerabilities in their supply chain when managing cybersecurity risks. Attacks via suppliers are becoming increasingly common – in the last year, as many as 46% of organisations have experienced them. Telekom Slovenije has launched the SecurityScorecard solution, which provides automated monitoring of partners' cybersecurity. The platform assesses the security status of each supplier on a scale from A to F, which allows companies to respond quickly, comply with legislation, and reduce costs. The solution is suitable for medium businesses and enterprises, and implementation is possible in just a few days, with a free trial version also available.

The September Modri Fon promotion: Choose a new phone and receive a triple benefit
In its September Modri fon campaign, Telekom Slovenije is offering an opportunity for a wise decision with significant savings. At the heart of the offer are two powerful phones: the Redmi Note 14 5G with a premium 108 MP AI camera for all photography enthusiasts, and the reliable Samsung Galaxy A36, which offers proven quality for everyday use. Both models support the 5G network for lightning-fast internet speeds, and users can save up to EUR 215 on their purchase. However, the promotional savings on the device are just the beginning. The offer also includes a reduced subscription fee for the Naj mobile subscription plan, which costs only EUR 9.99 per month for the first three months. For complete peace of mind, Telekom Slovenije is also giving away a double benefit: 6 months of free mobile phone insurance against unpleasant surprises such as falls and screen damage, and 6 months of free use of the Safe Internet service, which protects against online threats such as viruses and fake websites. The entire package combines advanced technology, significant savings, and long-term security, which truly makes the offer a wise decision.
