October at Telekom Slovenije brings together technological achievements, security and innovations that make everyone’s digital lives easier.
nPerf’s independent measurements have confirmed the leading performance of its fixed and fibre networks, while during European Cybersecurity Month, Telekom Slovenije is highlighting the importance of digital resilience and presenting Secure Shield, a service designed to protect devices in businesses. Users can take advantage of new features in the Moj Telekom app, simpler mobile number transfers between supported iPhone devices and three months of free use of the Turbo WiFi service.
Independent nPerf measurements confirm Telekom Slovenije’s leading fixed network
The independent international nPerf study covering the period from 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026, has shown that Telekom Slovenije achieved the best overall result among Slovenian fixed internet providers and received awards for the best fixed network performance and the best FTTH broadband network performance in Slovenia. The results, based on 19,100 measurements by actual users, confirm the highest average download and upload speeds, the lowest latency, and an excellent user experience when browsing the web and streaming video content. This achievement is the result of several years of systematic investment in network development, capacity, reliability and security, as well as the expertise of Telekom Slovenije’s teams.
Digital resilience starts with effective cybersecurity protection
As cyberattacks become increasingly frequent and targeted, control over data, infrastructure and technology, multi-layered protection and continuous expert monitoring are becoming key pillars of digital resilience. In the first half of 2026 alone, Telekom Slovenije’s Cyber Security and Resilience Centre handled 23,111 security events. Telekom Slovenije connects networks, data centres, cloud services and cybersecurity in a comprehensive, locally managed ecosystem, in which more than 100 experts provide monitoring and response 24/7/365. Responsible user behaviour also remains an important part of resilience, particularly the use of long and unique passphrases, multi-factor authentication and the regular installation of security updates.
Secure Shield with advanced protection of devices for businesses
Secure Shield (Varen ščit) is a Telekom Slovenije service designed primarily for businesses that want to protect their computers and mobile devices from modern cyber threats, even if they do not have their own IT department. The advanced protection monitors activity on devices, detects suspicious behaviour and responds to threats in real time: it helps stop attacks, isolate affected devices and prevent threats from spreading to other devices. The service is based on Bitdefender GravityZone technology and provides protection for a computer and a mobile phone for as little as EUR 4 per month, plus VAT.
Moj Telekom: everything in one place
The Moj Telekom app provides users with a simple way to manage their mobile and fixed services, review usage, bills, instalments and contractual commitments, and activate additional services. Users can now also pay bills and top up their Mobi credit quickly and securely using Apple Pay or Google Pay. By logging in with SI-PASS and selecting an eSIM, users can also enter into a new mobile subscription agreement via the app in just a few minutes, without needing to visit a point of sale. Selected existing subscribers can also receive personalised offers in the app to renew their subscription agreement and complete the entire process digitally. Apple Pay and Google Pay are also available in the Moj Mobi app for purchasing and topping up credit.
Easier mobile number transferring
With iOS 27, Telekom Slovenije offers users an easier way to transfer their mobile number and mobile subscription plan between supported iPhone devices directly in the phone settings. Users can transfer their existing physical SIM card or eSIM to a new iPhone as an eSIM. The process does not require a visit to a point of sale, replacement of the physical SIM card or the use of any additional apps. The existing phone number is retained during the transfer, while the previous SIM or eSIM is automatically deactivated. The service is currently available for transfers between iPhone 12 and newer models running the appropriate version of the iOS operating system, and the range of supported devices and functionalities will gradually be expanded.
iPhone Duo and a special prize draw
With the new iPhone Duo arriving soon, Telekom Slovenije is also running a prize draw in connection with the Telekom Centre Čopova in Ljubljana. Visitors to the centre can learn more about the new device and enter the prize draw for an iPhone Duo. More information on how to participate, the duration of the prize draw and its terms and conditions is available in the prize draw rules.

Staying safe at home with E-Care as part of long-term care
Telekom Slovenije’s E-Care service provides greater safety and supports the elderly, people with disabilities and chronically ill people in living independently at home for longer. As the service is included among long-term care entitlements, it is free of charge for eligible users. To obtain the service, an application must first be submitted to the competent social work centre. People over the age of 80 do not need to undergo an eligibility assessment procedure for their application to be approved. Once a decision has been issued, Telekom Slovenije takes care of the administrative procedures and arranges for professional installation of the equipment at the user’s home. Users can also see how the E-Care system works at any Telekom Slovenije sales centre. Until the end of the year, all subscribers to E-Care subscription plans can also benefit from the special Connect & Save with E-Care offer, which provides more affordable communications through a reduced monthly subscription fee for the Naj A mobile subscription plan and the NEO TV fixed subscription plan.
