Additionally, Telekom Slovenije offers TV subscribers 11 new exclusive music channels with content from local and global music scenes, and provides its TV subscribers with access to additional programming options and video libraries at no additional cost until 5 January 2026. As the national provider of the E-oskrba (E-Care) service, it ensures safer living for the elderly and vulnerable groups, while the festive offer in the E-store brings a wide selection of gifts and benefits for carefree shopping. This confirms Telekom Slovenije’s commitment to innovation and a superior user experience.

From 5G SA to 99% coverage: Telekom Slovenije completes the technological project of the decade
In December 2025, Telekom Slovenije successfully completed one of the most demanding technological projects of the decade. With a comprehensive renewal of the mobile network core, the company has ranked in the European top and laid the foundations for advanced communications of the future. The new platform supports 5G Standalone network, which delivers higher data transfer speeds and support for new versions of the 5G standard. Among the key innovations is VoNR (Voice over New Radio) technology, which allows phones to perform voice calls directly over the 5G network without switching to 4G. Furthermore, the upgrade brings network slicing for industry and advanced Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) for users in areas without fibre-optic connectivity. The upgrade took place without interruptions for users. Additionally, Telekom Slovenije will be reaching another milestone: by the end of the month, its 5G network will cover 99 percent of the population, and the fibre-optic network already reaches more than half a million households. With this and the status of the fastest network, the company is enhancing its role as the backbone of the Slovenian digital society.

Festive gift from Telekom Slovenije: access to the richest TV content at no additional cost
In the spirit of joyful December and festive gift-giving, Telekom Slovenije has provided all its subscribers with access to the Mega HD channel bundle and numerous additional programming options at no additional cost. Until 5 January 2026, users can enjoy an expanded range of content, including the Balkan, CineStar TV Premiere, Eksplozivni and Eksplozivni +, Minimax +, Rus 5+, Šport, Šah z Lauro Unuk, Kitchen TV, Kultura, FilmBox, and Da Vinci subscription plans. With this gift, Telekom Slovenije brings its subscribers an even richer choice of entertainment and educational content for a more pleasant holiday season.

Telekom Slovenije with 11 new exclusive music channels
An upgraded channel bundle is available to Telekom Slovenije TV subscribers, featuring 11 new music channels available exclusively at Telekom Slovenije, bringing a fresh music experience for all generations. The new offer is a strategic response to market changes and the departure of MTV channels. With this new content, Telekom Slovenije fills the resulting gap for more diverse and locally flavoured music. Slovenian performers, including Joker Out, Laibach, Raiven, and Magnifico, are strongly represented, with the operator actively supporting the national cultural identity. The channels cover a wide spectrum of genres – from world hits (Pop Star), rock (R&R), and electronics (Electro) to regional music (Jeka, ZZ TV), and nostalgic hits (FlashBack). For a modern user experience, all channels on the NEO platform feature a 7-day time-shift function, allowing viewers to watch their favourite music videos at any time. All new channels are available to subscribers promotionally free of charge until 1 February 2026. After this period, the Muzzik Mix channel will remain part of all basic channel bundles, while the remaining 10 channels will be available in a new, affordable programming option.

Telekom Slovenije provides E-Care for safe living at home
Telekom Slovenije was selected in a public tender as the national provider of the E-Care service, which became one of the key rights under long-term care insurance as of 1 July 2025. The service is completely free of charge for all eligible beneficiaries and provides safer and more independent living for the elderly, persons with disabilities, and chronic patients in their home environment. New users access the service by submitting an application to a Social Work Centre (CSD). Upon receiving the decision, they simply forward it along with their agreement details to Telekom Slovenije to conclude the agreement and set up the connection. For those over 80 years of age, the process is further simplified and takes place without an assessment. To facilitate a better presentation, Telekom Slovenije has opened a new information point on Čopova Street in Ljubljana, and the service can also be tested at all its other centres across Slovenia.
