Telekom Slovenije brings the mobile programme option Da Vinci Kids to its mobile subscribers. This is a mobile app with educational video content for children aged between 6 and 12, which introduces children to science, mathematics, technology, history, culture, nature and sports in an interactive and fun way.
The Da Vinci Kids app in Slovenian is exclusively available from Telekom Slovenije.
When looking at any of the many apps for children, it is important that the content available through the app is verified both in terms of quality and in terms of age appropriateness. The Da Vinci Kids mobile app allows children to learn about topics such as science, mathematics, technology, history, culture, nature and sports in a way that is tailored to them, while also testing their knowledge through different quizzes and entertaining games. Individual content is available through fun and interesting topics, such as Amazing animals, How does it work?, Maths magic, Interesting history, etc.
Users can download the Da Vinci Kids app to their mobile device from Google Play or App Store (the app itself is free). After launching the app, they set their user name and password, and to access the content they also need a code which is available when ordering the mobile programme option. The programme option can be ordered through Moj Telekom (https://moj.telekom.si) self-care portal or by sending a text message with the keyword DAVINCIKIDS to 1918. The option can be cancelled by sending a text message with the keyword DAVINCIKIDS NE to 1918 or through Moj Telekom.
All the content in the app is in Slovenian and there are no advertisements; the monthly subscription fee is €2.99. The app is available to residential and business subscribers of Telekom Slovenije’s mobile services.
Besides the Da Vinci Kids app Telekom Slovenije has also prepared a few more tools for children and their parents that are important for safe use of communication services, and also has a special offer for children. Together with the organization Logout it made advice for parents and teens on safe use of communication devices, and the first contract that children sign with their parents when they receive their first mobile phone, and that details the rules on using a mobile device. Subscribers to mobile services can take advantage of the Otrok (Child) special benefit on their monthly subscription fee, and choose from a broad range of mobile phones for children, while the NEO smart living and entertainment platform allows parents to simply select their child’s age group, allowing them to only watch age-appropriate content.
