Boštjan Košak

President of the Management Board

Boštjan Košak holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and has more than 25 years of work experience, primarily in the areas of telecommunications and new technologies.

During his career, he managed Amis in Slovenia and Croatia for more than 10 years, while he served for four years as executive director and procurator at Si.mobil, later A1 Slovenija. He has managed companies involved in robotic process automation, new technologies, connectivity and telecommunications networks.

Irma Gubanec, MSc

Vice-President of the Management Board

Irma Gubanec holds a degree in economics and an MSc. She has 28 years of work experience.

Since 2021 she worked as an independent consultant in business and finance, while between 2017 and 2021 she was a management board member for finance and accounting at Luka Koper, d.d. Between 2010 and 2017 she was primarily responsible for finance, accounting, controlling and procurement at Delo, d.d., while between 2013 and 2017 she was also the company’s CEO. Between 2001 and 2010 she was assistant director general at the public broadcaster RTV Slovenija, in charge of operational economics.

Vesna Prodnik, MSc

Member of the Management Board

Vesna Prodnik holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and a master’s degree in communication sciences. She has 23 years of work experience in the field of electronic communications.

Since 2006, she has worked as Director and Senior Consultant at various consultancy firms in the telecommunications industry, where she has headed various strategic and investment telecommunications projects in South-Eastern Europe. From 2003 to 2006, she was employed at Mobitel and Telekom Slovenije, where she worked in the areas of network interconnection and regulations. She is an expert in new technologies and the regulation of electronic communications.

Špela Fortin

Member of the Management Board - Worker Director

Špela Fortin is studying at the Ljubljana School of Business. She began working at Telekom Slovenije as a student, and has been employed with the company since 2006 in the Sales department.

Since April 2019 she has been responsible for sales in the southern and eastern region at the B2C Strategic Business unit, and before that she managed Telekom Slovenije’s biggest sales centre, the Telekom Sales Centre Citypark Ljubljana. She has experience in management and motivating a large team.

She was member of the Works Council. As an employee representative she is a link between the management and the employees of Telekom Slovenije.

Worker Director implements the powers arising directly from the law, and has the principal right and duty to take part in the company restructuring and the preparation of materials for the Management Board’s resolutions, in particular relation to the collective labour agreement, payment system and stimulation of the employees, welfare issues, the employee’s standard of living, cooperation with the Works Council and Telekom Slovenije trade unions, as well as with the Supervisory Board worker representatives.

Her four-year term in the Telekom Slovenije Management Board started on 14 September 2023.
