Zavarovalnica Triglav and Telekom Slovenije provide remote insurance policy purchase using video identification

With the support of Telekom Slovenije, the Zavarovalnica Triglav insurance company has introduced remote digital signing of documents and remote video identification, which were well received by users during the COVID-19 epidemic, when business operations moved into the digital sphere.

Zavarovalnica Triglav's users can now use video identification to conclude insurance policies remotely, as well as manage their services using the i.triglav digital service.

The user-friendly video identification system provides fast, secure and easy remote identification, compliant with legal provisions. It provides users with an electronic identity for using services in Zavarovalnica Triglav’s digital environment. This in turn allows them to use an e-signature for approving different remote business transactions, such as signing a contract, paying an invoice or changing their insurance plan.

After obtaining their electronic identity from Zavarovalnica Triglav, existing and potential users can conclude insurance policies and use services through the i.triglav digital platform, available through any digital channel and device (computer, tablet or mobile phone).
