Telekom Slovenije, a long-time supporter of Slovenian national men's volleyball team, has again demonstrated its commitment to the development of volleyball in Slovenia. As part of the sponsorship of this year's Nations League tournament in Stožice, Telekom Slovenije organised an activity for the attending fans, where they tried to guess the number of balls in a special box. These balls have now been distributed to 21 volleyball clubs that primarily focus on youth teams.
Telekom Slovenije purchased the 108 professional volleyballs, which were gifted to volleyball clubs across Slovenia that focus on working with young players. This donation will provide the clubs with better conditions for training and matches, and consequently to the development of young talents.
"Telekom Slovenije is proud to support the development of young volleyball players," said Rok Gorjup, Sales Director at Telekom Slovenije. "We believe that investing in young people is crucial for the future of Slovenian sports. That is why we decided to donate balls to clubs that are dedicated to working with young players. We hope that these balls will help young volleyball players in their development, and that we will see more Slovenian volleyballers achieve the highest ranks in the future. We also wish our national team a successful performance in Paris."
With this initiative, Telekom Slovenije has once again proven that it is not just a sponsor but also an active partner in Slovenian sports. Through such support, it helps create better conditions for the development of young talents, contributing to a brighter future for Slovenian sports. At the same time, Telekom Slovenije is among the traditional and biggest supporters of Slovenian sports and athletes. It is also a long-time sponsor of Slovenian Olympians, football players, volleyball players, handball players, cyclists, athletes, climbers, kayakers, skiers, and other athletes. This inspired it to spread the message to cheer intelligently also in the digital world. There will be more than enough opportunities to do so this summer.
