Many users of Telekom Slovenije’s mobile services go abroad for May Day spring break holidays, especially to Croatia, and while there, they can also make their stay safer by opting for the Brezskrbni (Carefree) tourist insurance, the first tourist insurance on the Slovenian market.

Telekom Slovenije’s subscribers can activate this insurance plan remotely and even add family members to it. The insurance premium is EUR 0.99 per day per individual or EUR 2.48 per day for family insurance. A third of Telekom Slovenije’s mobile subscribers also opt for additional 10 GB or 20 GB mobile data allowance in Croatia every year.
During the May Day spring break holidays, they can take advantage of the special promotion "HR-Internet Plus" which comes with a 10 GB data allowance in Hrvatski Telekom's network for just EUR 5.99 and is active for 7 days from activation. Subscribers can activate the option by sending an SMS with the keyword HR PLUS by 3 May 2022. Those staying longer in Croatia can also opt for the 20 GB monthly data allowance for EUR 9.95, which is also available in Hrvatski Telekom's network, and can be activated by sending an SMS message with the keyword HR INTERNET (the allowance is automatically renewed until cancellation). In both cases subscribers send the SMS message to 1918, Mobi prepaid users to 1917, and IZI users to 4008. The option can be activated using SMS, however, subscribers and Mobi users can also do this in the Moj Telekom app, and IZI users in the Moj IZI app.
Telekom Slovenije has developed the technical solution for the Brezskrbni tourist insurance that allows Zavarovalnica Sava insurance company to offer Telekom Slovenije's subscribers the first tourist insurance billed according to the "pay-as-you-roam" principle. Users can quickly and easily activate the insurance remotely, and the insurance premium is billed automatically for the time when the user's mobile number is connected into the networks of foreign operators.
Subscribers to Telekom Slovenije's mobile services can conclude the Brezskrbni tourist insurance by assigning a master mobile number in Moj Telekom, on which they then activate tourist insurance for themselves, and if they want to, also for their family members, then follow the instructions. The insurance premium may include up to seven people, i.e., two adults and five children up to 15 years of age. Insured persons are automatically informed of their coverage by SMS, which they receive immediately when their mobile phone connects into a foreign operator's network; upon return to their home network, they are again informed by SMS that their insurance coverage no longer applies.
The Brezskrbni tourist insurance includes costs of clinical or hospital treatment, ambulance transport to the healthcare institution and transportation back home after the treatment is concluded, in the amount of EUR 30,000 per individual insurance case, and up to EUR 200,000 in a single insurance year.
