The latest Google Pixel 9 series smartphones, unveiled by Google on the evening of Tuesday, 13 August, will premiere in Slovenia at Telekom Slovenije. Pre-orders are already available in the E-Store, making Telekom Slovenije the only Slovenian operator to offer the official purchase of the Google Pixel 9, Google Pixel 9 Pro, and Google Pixel 9 Pro XL. This partnership with Google ensures that the smartphones will be fully supported on Telekom Slovenije’s mobile network, providing an excellent user experience and comprehensive after-sales support.
Those purchasing Google Pixel 9 series smartphones will be able to fully utilise the highest gigabit transfer speeds on Telekom Slovenije’s 5G network, which currently covers more than 65 percent of the population and is already being upgraded in line with the highest standards.
Pre-orders for the Google Pixel 9 series smartphones are already underway in Telekom Slovenije’s E-Store, and from 22 August, the smartphones will also be available at Telekom Slovenije’s Sales Centres and from authorised retailers across Slovenia, just as in other countries.
“Google’s smartphones are increasingly popular among Slovenian mobile service users, but until now, there has not been adequate official sales and after-sales support in Slovenia. Because we place great emphasis on meeting users' needs and providing the best user experience, we have partnered with Google to become the only operator in Slovenia to officially launch the Google Pixel 9 series smartphones with full support. One of the key advantages that users will experience with the Google Pixel 9 series devices is that they will be among the first to receive future regular Android operating system updates. Additionally, customers will benefit from various perks, including access to many of Google’s premium services, advanced artificial intelligence, and cloud storage,” said Katja Šajnovič, Director of Business Development at Telekom Slovenije.
The Google Pixel 9 will be available in a promotional offer with 24-month instalments at 37.50 EUR per month, the Google Pixel 9 Pro at 46 EUR per month, and the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL at 54.25 EUR per month. In addition to the Google Pixel 9 series, Telekom Slovenije now also offers the Google Pixel 8a. The smartphones are available in various colours and storage capacities.
At launch, customers purchasing Google Pixel 9 series smartphones can also take advantage of special offers, including 1 year of free Google One AI premium subscription, 6 months of free Google One storage (2 TB), the option to trade in an old device at a mark-up, and the opportunity to get a higher storage capacity for the price of a lower one (e.g., 256 GB for the price of the 128 GB version, or 512 GB for the price of the 256 GB version with the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL). These offers are time-limited and available for purchases of selected Google Pixel series smartphones until 5 September 2024.
