Page ContentinterconnectionInterconnection is a type of network access enabling the physical and logical connection of telecommunication networks in a way that provides end-users linked to different telecommunication networks with the option of communicating, directly or indirectly, among themselves or with access to services provided by these networks.Interconnection in Inland TrafficTelekom Slovenije enables its fixed network subscribers to make outbound calls to mobile networks, while also enabling the users of the Slovenian mobile carrier's services to make calls to the fixed network and other mobile networks, operating in Slovenia .Calls made to emergency numbers 112 and 113 without the use of prefix numbers of the fixed network also fall within the framework of these services.Interconnection with Foreign NetworksIn terms of international traffic we are enabling the Slovenian mobile carrier's subscribers to make inbound and outbound international calls, when roaming, while with inbound calls from abroad, we enable termination of these calls in the Slovene mobile networks.Possibility of concluding an agreement for the use of special-purpose capacities in 2xE1 unitsWe are notifying the operators that in cases of services in international traffic, which comprise traffic directed foreign operator – TELEKOM SLOVENIJE – operator – foreign operator in both directions, the use of special-purpose capacities in 2xE1 units can be arranged in the way that with connection, upgrading and monthly expenses, Telekom Slovenije and the operator each cover the costs of one E1 line, wherein Telekom Slovenije provides the line.Special-purpose capacities are usually available in a two-way arrangement, however Telekom Slovenije and the operator may agree on a different arrangement.At the same time the operator is contractually bound to provide Telekom Slovenije with a suitable offering that enables Telekom Slovenije to maintain traffic balance in the direction of the operator on the said E1 lines.RoamingThe subscribers of GSM mobile networks are able to establish contacts and are accessible in all locations where the GSM system is actually in operation and in the networks of all operators with which their respective mobile operator has signed roaming contracts. The service is called roaming.GSM mobile network subscribers are also able to call from abroad into the domestic and all foreign networks, while maintaining the availability of their respective mobile number when abroad, wherever they may be.Mobile operators have the option of ordering roaming with Telekom Slovenia within an individual country, thus expanding their operations to foreign countries.
