At its 4th regular meeting on Tuesday, 10 December 2019, the Supervisory Board of Telekom Slovenije, d.d., appointed the current Vice-President of the Management Board, Tomaž Seljak, MSc, as the President of the Management Board.
He had been the head of the company with full authority already this year between 16 April and 15 September and since 14 November. Tomaž Seljak will begin his 4-year term on 10 December 2019.
Pursuant to the provisions of the Rules of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange and the valid legislation, Telekom Slovenije, d.d., hereby publishes the following notification:
At its 4th regular meeting on Tuesday, 10 December 2019, the Supervisory Board of Telekom Slovenije, d.d., appointed the current Vice-President of the Management Board, Tomaž Seljak, MSc, as the President of the Management Board. He had been the head of the company with full authority already this year between 16 April and 15 September and since 14 November. Tomaž Seljak will begin his 4-year term on 10 December 2019.
Tomaž Seljak holds a master's degree in electrical engineering. Before being appointed the President of the Management Board he was the Vice-President of the Management Board of Telekom Slovenije, d.d., responsible for technology, and he began his second term in the Management Board on 1 May 2018. He has many years of experience in telecommunications; he has been employed at Telekom Slovenije, d.d., since 1997, starting out in the former Centre for Cable Network Maintenance, where he was in charge of monitoring the development and introduction of fibre optics networks. After two years he joined the Telecommunications Cable Networks Office and actively participated in the foundation of the subsidiary GVO, d.o.o., and in the establishment of business processes between Telekom Slovenije, d.d., and GVO, d.o.o. In 2004 he became the head of the Telecommunications Cable Network Office, and in 2006 the Activation and Troubleshooting Department Director, where he collaborated in the revamp of business processes in services provision to business and residential users. Between 2009 and 2011 he was the Cable Network and Service Assurance Department Director, then Network Maintenance and Service Assurance Department Director, and before he became a Management Board Member, he headed the Access Networks Department.
Along with appointing Tomaž Seljak as the President of the Management Board, the Supervisory Board of Telekom Slovenije, d.d., also appointed Matjaž Beričič to the position of the Management Board Member, responsible for technology. Matjaž Beričič will begin his four-year term as Management Board Member on 10 December 2019. Matjaž Beričič holds a master's degree in electrical engineering. Throughout his career he has been working in network development. He began his career at the former Si.mobil, d.d., where he was as specialist for network monitoring and management, an engineer for services and technologies, and the head of the New Technologies Office and Network Services Office. In 2007 he joined the former Telekom Slovenije Group subsidiary Mobitel, d.d., as the head of Core Network Department, and in 2010 became the director of the Technology Department. Since 2011 he has been the Convergent Core Network Department Director at Telekom Slovenije, d.d., and in 2019 he took over the Core Network and IT as Director, which includes responsibilities for the development of core network technologies, IT infrastructure and applications, system integration with the public cloud and technical support for users, cyber security, etc.
With the appointment of Tomaž Seljak to the position of the President of the Management Board and Matjaž Beričič to the position of Management Board Member, responsible for technology, the Management Board of Telekom Slovenije, d.d., is once more complete. Along with Tomaž Seljak and Matjaž Beričič the Management Board of Telekom Slovenije, d.d., also includes Ranko Jelača, responsible for sales and marketing, Vida Žurga, PhD, responsible for finances, and Špela Fortin, Workers Director.

During his time at the head of Telekom Slovenije, d.d., as Vice-President of the Management Board with full authority for nearly half a year, Tomaž Seljak has proven to be a prudent manager with a feeling for the development of business operations and an expert with an excellent knowledge of telecommunications and upcoming trends. Matjaž Beričič brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in technology to the Management Board, and this is an area where we also expect new business models to emerge in the future.”
