District Court of Ljubljana rejects civil claim by Akton, d.o.o. against Telekom Slovenije, d.d.

Telekom Slovenije, d.d., Cigaletova 15, Ljubljana, herewith informs the public that, on 6 January 2015, the company received a judgement from the District Court of Ljubljana, ref. no. IV Pg 4477/2012 issued on 19 November 2014 in the economic dispute of the plaintiff Akton, d.o.o against the defendant Telekom Slovenije, d.d. (previously Mobitel, d.d.), for the payment according to the modified claim of EUR 2,604,506.36 with all dues. The claimed amount is supposed to represent a compensation for alleged unlawful charging of excess interests for the international call termination services.

With the abovementioned judgement the District Court of Ljubljana decided that the claim by the plaintiff is fully rejected and that the plaintiff is obliged to refund the defendant the costs which the latter incurred in the process in the amount of 24,752.15 EUR within 15 days from the receipt of the first degree court decision; payment after this period is to include interest in arrears calculated according to the general legal penal rate from the expiry of the 15-day period until payment.

The announcement will also be available on the company website (www.telekom.si) for a period of at least 5 years.
